Which knife is better? - sog seal pup elite
I am looking for a good survival knife to have a little now and then the two caught my attention
1. Gerber 1400 LMF II ASEK Military Survival Knife
2.SOG baby seal E37T ELITE
Knife both have good reviews, but I need is the experience of people with knives. Stories of how they are used, are always welcome.

Sog Seal Pup Elite Which Knife Is Better?

I carried a Gerber LMF during my last stay in Iraq. I have used only occasionally for light work. Leatherman and also a Spyderco folder that I have on a daily basis.
I liked the LMF, because the vagina is Molle compatible and has a built-in sharpener. The knife has a "breaking point" in the safety standard or glass, but it is useless with HMMWV armor.
I'm a fan of the Gerber-resistant with a thickness for the curious, or cut, leaving built in sharpener, SOFT comaptible to the vagina and the metal point at the top of the glass to break a hole in the melon someones insurance. The SOG is a great knife, but through tenacity, I Gerber.
I'm alittle old ... But the two knives I had in my 15 years was a Naval Aviator:
The issue of K-Bar ... fully functional
A Swiss Army Knife ... fully functional
During my years later, a Leatherman tool
Age is not necessarily not so new and shiny
